Get the month back on track.
Practical checks for calculations, time tracking, purchases, sync, and data.
A total looks wrong
Open the income source and check its rate model, active dates, schedule, working hours, and lunch. Then check the Calendar for a forced workday, nonworking day, paid leave, half day, or custom weight. For additional income, verify the payment status, allocation, and whether it is included in the forecast.
Are Timer and Reports included in Free?
Yes. Stopwatch, manual time entries, Pomodoro, every Timer control, all Reports, and the Dashboard report preview are Free. Pro expands MonthMade to additional income sources and optional private iCloud Sync.
Pro is not recognized
Confirm that the Mac App Store is signed in with the Apple Account used for the purchase, then choose Restore Purchases on MonthMade’s Pro page. Monthly, annual, and Lifetime purchases all unlock the same Pro features. Restoring purchases does not restore or enable iCloud data.
iCloud is not syncing
Private iCloud Sync is optional. Enabling it requires Pro. Check that iCloud is available for your Apple Account, that MonthMade is allowed to use it, and that sync is enabled inside the app. Your local data remains the starting point while sync is unavailable.
Values are hidden
Auto Privacy is best effort. In Settings → Privacy, click Enable next to Screen Recording, grant access, then quit and reopen MonthMade; the Auto Privacy switch stays disabled until access is effective. MonthMade uses public display-mirroring state and in-memory Control Center indicator metadata, never pixels or audio, and never requests Accessibility. Camera, microphone, or system-audio activity may hide values without sharing, while some sharing may be missed. Show Values, Amounts, or Percentages reveal values only until the current detection ends; manual Hidden is always available.
Export data
Use Settings in MonthMade to create a complete export. Exports are not redacted by the current privacy mode and can contain settings, income, schedules, payments, complete time history, and Pomodoro presets, so treat them as sensitive.
Delete or reset data
Deletion and reset controls stay available on every plan. Reset All Data replaces the working dataset with fresh state, removes the logical backup and active-timer checkpoint, and keeps device preferences. If iCloud Sync is enabled, reset first requests deletion of MonthMade’s private CloudKit zone, then disables sync. Run reset before deleting the app when cloud cleanup is required: deleting the app alone may leave its local container, private CloudKit zone, or user-selected exports, and exports are never removed automatically.
Downloads and updates
Get MonthMade and its updates from the Mac App Store. If an update is not appearing, check the App Store’s Updates section and confirm that you are signed in with your Apple Account. The Download page links to the product listing.
