Start with your local data
MonthMade works locally without sync. Pro adds the option to keep a private iCloud copy and sync between your Macs. Decide which Mac has the dataset you want to begin with, and make a complete export before changing a setup that contains important records.
Enable sync on each Mac
- Sign in to iCloud on each Mac using the same Apple Account.
- Confirm that MonthMade has active Pro access. Restore Purchases if you bought Pro with that Apple Account and the app does not recognize it.
- Open Settings → iCloud Sync and explicitly enable sync.
- Review the sync status before moving to the other Mac, then enable sync there as well.
Restoring a purchase restores Pro access. It does not restore income data or turn on iCloud Sync for you. Those are separate actions.
Know which settings belong to each Mac
The dataset includes income sources, payments, completed sessions, schedules, preferences, and other saved work. Source pictures also participate in optional sync.
Sync consent and macOS permissions remain specific to each Mac. Enabling sync on one computer does not automatically grant consent on another.
Check sync without resetting your data
- Confirm that iCloud is available for the Apple Account on that Mac.
- Check that MonthMade is allowed to use iCloud.
- Confirm that Pro is active and sync is enabled inside MonthMade.
- Read the current sync status before making further changes.
Local data remains available while sync is unavailable. Avoid using Reset All Data as a troubleshooting step: with sync enabled, reset also requests deletion of the private cloud copy and turns sync off.
If the status does not resolve, use Contact with your app version and a description of the problem.
