Your app & data

Set language, formats, and app preferences

Make MonthMade fit your Mac with appearance, language, currency, date formats, notifications, and launch settings.

Choose appearance and language

Open Settings → General. Appearance can follow macOS with Auto, or stay in Light or Dark mode. The language picker supports search and shows languages by their native names.

Use Auto for language when you want MonthMade to follow the Mac’s language. The app supports English, Russian, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Arabic, Indonesian, and Turkish.

Review currency, time zone, and formats

  1. Select the currency and time zone that fit the dataset you are maintaining.
  2. Choose a money format, or leave it on Auto to follow the automatic formatting preference.
  3. Choose a date format and 12-hour or 24-hour time.
  4. Review Dashboard and Calendar to confirm the display matches what you intended.

These are settings for how you work with the dataset. Before changing currency for existing records, read any explanation or confirmation shown in the app.

Set notifications and launch behavior

In Settings → Notifications, choose whether MonthMade should show notifications and play sounds. Pomodoro also has completion preferences, and macOS controls whether notifications are permitted.

Use the launch-at-login setting in General if you want MonthMade ready when you sign in. If macOS asks for approval, review Login Items in System Settings.

Keep the app current

Open About to see the installed version and check for updates. Check for Updates in the application menu opens the same update flow. Installation is handled by the Mac App Store.

You can also enable automatic app updates in the App Store. Read Release Notes for changes in each published version.
